CONTENTdm is a standards-compliant digital library system that supports keyword searching, Dublin Core [8] metadata, standard data formats for digitized content, and Open Archives Initiative data harvesting. As of the end of 2007, PALNI's digitized collections are in an active stage of development, and now include more than 35,000 digitized images and objects, along with associated Dublin Core metadata. In January, 2008, PALNI implemented a major new release of CONTENTdm, and recently migrated the system to a new, more powerful server.
